  • How much does a custom deck cost?

    The cost of a new deck can vary widely based on size, materials used and features. As a general rule, prices start around $50 a square foot, but can go up based on materials chosen and design options. Click the button below to view some price guidelines.

  • How will a deck addition affect my home value?

    Adding a deck can have a profound effect on your home's value, providing a return on investment (ROI) anywhere from 80% to 150%. Higher ROI percentages are typically seen in southern states and other regions with long summers. If  you've chosen to live in the Rogue Valley, you're already aware of our long Mediterranean summers that provide months of outdoor enjoyment. 

  • How long will deck construction take?

    New deck construction can take anywhere from a few days for small decks to a few weeks for larger or more complex projects.  Tear down on existing decks will usually add one to two additional days.

  • Do I need permits to build a new deck?

    Permits are typically not required for new decks unless they exceed certain size or height limits, or involve plumbing or electrical work. We can determine if permits are necessary once we have more details about your project. As always, we will handle the permit process so you don't have to!

  • What happens with debris from old decks?

    We will take care of dismantling and removing all materials, disposing of them properly according to local regulations. We also recycle materials whenever possible, minimizing environmental impact. 

  • Can I finance for my deck addition?

    Yes! One of the most popular options for financing a new deckl is a home equity line of credit or HELOC. A HELOC can spread your payments over a longer time period and may come with some tax advantages. Alternatively, some people choose to use personal loans or credit lines. The Rogue Valley has a number of amazing credit unions and we'd be happy to refer you to one.
